Sharepoint portal design and customizations

Often when intranet solutions are first implemented, they take on a rather functional look and feel. Such was the case with Tyco. As a second phase to their Sharepoint roll-out, their corporate communications group engaged DefinedLogic to give the landing page a more dynamic and engaging design.

Our solution incorporated new backgrounds, web parts, and Flash enhancements including a video player to dramatically change the visual appeal of the page, while maintaining existing links, global navigation and headers.

The rollout was a great success and led to the redesign of supporting pages as well.
