Flying for Business? Choose Your Seat Wisely

Recently on a business trip, I was relaxing at the airport lounge waiting for my delayed plane to be called. After a while, a young man sat at the bar near me. He had on a light blue suit and a really bad tie with clown faces all over it. He started chatting away. He was on his first business trip, he was so excited to travel for work, yada, yada, yada…

I laughed to myself, because this guy had no clue about what he was getting into. Business travel can be fun and exciting, but it can also be boring, tedious, lonely, and frustrating. And flying these days can be tough. You learn over time how to plan the flight, the seating, and the schedule, but a lot of it is difficult even for the best of us.

And you always want to avoid sitting next to an annoying person on a flight.

You Can’t Always Get What You Want…

There is no business that can exist without customers.  As a partner at DefinedLogic, I know that very well. My company bends over backwards to please our customers and that is no easy task in the world of IT consulting.  So why would I ever fire a customer?

This could be attributed, in part, to the lack of information being published about smartphone security risks.

Riverside Gardens Park Offers Summer Fun in Red Bank

Since DefinedLogic moved to our new location in Red Bank, our team members have been happily exploring the town, trying out new spots for lunch, and participating in the fun activities that Red Bank has to offer.

One of the gems we’ve discovered is Riverside Gardens Park. Located on the Navesink River, the park has beautiful gardens, colorful murals, and one of the best views of the river around. The video below is some photos of the park.

At lunchtime, you can get some takeout lunch at the Inbetween Café or Muscle Maker Grill and eat it in the park while you watch the boats go by. But the best part is the fun activities that are offered in the park. There is something fun going on almost every weeknight.
